Registration Information — During the Academic Year
The registration rotation indicates the times that students can access registration. Each class admit year has approximately a day and a half during which registration will be available only to that class year of students. During extended registration, BannerWeb will be available to all students 24 hours a day (except 5 pm Friday through 6 am Saturday). Remember that first and second year student-athletes will again register during the "Scholars" time for their class year.
Remind students that their BannerWeb registration access time is based on their expected date of graduation according to their admit term. If students are unsure of the class admit year to which they belong, they can review their information box in GradTracker or through the Student Menu in BannerWeb (Student Menu > Registration > Check Your Registration Status). Questions about registration status must be addressed to the registrar's office prior to the registration period.
Course availability can be monitored by accessing BannerWeb. On BannerWeb, go to the Faculty & Advisors Menu and select the "Look Up Course Availability" option at the bottom of the Faculty & Advisors Menu. Execute a class search. On the list of results, class availability will be indicated by the far left column and capacity (cap), actual enrollment (act), and seats remaining (rem) listed in columns 12–14. The BannerWeb Course Availability information for spring semester will be online mid-October. Advising for spring courses usually begins the third Monday of October.
