About Us

Our first charge is to provide resources and support to academic advisors, helping them do their advising work as effectively as possible.

Our second charge is to be a resource for students who, for whatever reasons, are having trouble finding answers to their questions.

Advisors and students e-mail, call, and stop in to the AARC on a daily basis with all kinds of questions and concerns. We are happy to help where we can and refer to appropriate resources when we can't.

Drop-In Advising

The AARC offers drop-in advising hours on Mondays & Thursdays from 2 - 4 p.m. while classes are in session.

These hours are an opportunity for students to ask quick advising questions and pick up academic forms. Drop-in conversations do not replace appointments with a student’s assigned academic advisor, but provide an additional resource should their advisor be out of the office or unavailable when key questions arise.
