AARC Handouts:

At the Undeclared-Student Advisor Workshop, handouts and recommended info included the following:

Newspiders.richmond.edu
The Newspiders website is an online guide for incoming students that contains a wide range of information useful for you and your advisees. It is worth reviewing at some point during the advising year, and it is a useful reference tool as well.

Advising International Exchange Students

Each year, some advisors are asked if they would be willing to advise international exchange students (typically students who are here for one or two semesters).  To assist these advisors, the International Education staff has prepared an Exchange Student Advising website that provides useful information and tips.  If you have questions that are not answered on their website, you're welcome to contact the Office of International Education at x8836.

Language Across the Curriculum (LAC)

The "Language Across the Curriculum" program is a set of one credit-hour, pass/fail courses that help improve language skills and broaden knowledge of other classes. Learn more about the LAC program.
